When attacking Stenay airfield in my Nieuport Bebe on July 9 1916, we spot aircrafts on the ground :
1 Albatros and 1 Fokker DR1 !!!

Historically this is not correct.
A remark on the map : St Miehel near Verdun is not correct name of the city
The correct name is St Mihiel

Another question : Are the enemy planes trying to intercept you when you are attacking an airfield ?

Since now I did not encountered any enemy ...

Was it actually a aircraft on the ground on the flight line either ready to take off or freshly landed? Not one of the static ones that are always parked on the airfield near the hangars? There is a possibility of those static parked aircraft being wrong from time to time.

Some aircraft (the ones that are sitting on the flight line) will intercept you when you are in the area.

Makes you want to drop a few bombs close to the planes to thin out the attackers!!

That's what I would do anyway - fly straight along their line
of planes and try to destroy or damage them.
After all, the speedy S.E.5a might be able to start and catch up
with a returning flight of Albatros, which bombed their field?

Yes exactly. One Albatros and one Fokker DR1.

I guess this is a little bug

But this is little in comparison with the pleasure that WOFF gives ...
