I have the Mi8 and like it but find it runs very slow on my rig. I've run the Ka50 and A-10 in identical missions and both handled the mission with noticeably smoother FPS. In defense of the Mi8, the P-51 also bogs down on my setup, so maybe it's just the complexity of later models. Anyway, the Huey would be a nice addition but I don't see myself spending the money if it's going to be the same performance struggle. Anyone else out there running a low-midrange rig who also manages a smooth Huey experience?

The P-51 while firing the .50s and the Mi-8 while firing the smaller caliber gunpods are known to induce serious frame rate reduction.

The Huey does not have this issue. Other than that i find the frame rate to be pretty consistent across modules.

Thanks. I'm running with a Mac and it really isn't very friendly to DCS. The A-10 runs liquid smooth. The others I mentioned above, not so much, even when flying peacefully with the Master Arm off.

I have the same issues with the same modules but I have not noticed a frame rate issue with the Huey module
