I've asked a few places when they think the new Remington R51s will be in and so far no one seems to know. "A couple of months, maybe" was the answer.

I got a notice about the new Glocks being in stock from the local law enforcement supply company way before anyone else so maybe it will happen with them.

Anyway, a size chart, though length isn't what interests me.

This thing has my interest as well but I am no early adopter. The fact that they didn't have any available to shoot at media day at SHOT show didn't give me a positive impression that this new gun is 100% ready for prime time. I'll give it at least a year and see how it shakes out and if they push any design changes.

Looks like maybe Remington has some work to do still...

Yeah I'm hearing so-so things as well. It's rather disappointing really.

Luckily M&P shields are still plentiful, even if their magazines aren't.

Interesting, It would have been nice it it didn't have these apparent issues. (to him, maybe?, I could see that his expectations and thoughts on use are different from mine)

Weird that the reset wasn't mentioned before. That Hickok45 is a big guy with big mitts, he'll probably get one to review soon. The more its out there the more we'll know.

Probably the first time I pick one up, it will feel so wrong and that will be the end of my interest.
