Getting the Killzone pack and 1 years Playstation Plus, some decent free games with Plus.

Really looking forward to playing it and trying out the new controller. I had picked it up in my local Game store and it felt so much better and not so much designed for tiny Japanese hands and the touchpad area sounds like it will have a lot of uses.

Lol, you only got a PS3 a little while ago!

Killzone Shadow fall looks fantastic, I will get one but with a baby on the way and the price of the games I don't think i'll have the time nor money to do so any time soon nope

That Farrow bloke you executed today, are you sure he's dead?
Well I chopped his head off, that usually does the trick.
Yes, don't get clever with me Baldrick. I just thought you might have lopped off a leg or something by mistake.
No, the thing I chopped off had a nose.

Got one yesterday biggrin

Bought the 12 month PS+ to and get Outlast free to download which is great even though I already have on PC I had only played a few minutes so I have it all to play through.

I LOVE the controller, it is such an upgrade over the last one in every way even without the touch pad and speaker just the shape, non-slip covering on the thumbsticks and triggers that are convex instead of concave (or the other way around). I had to buy 3rd party triggers that slot on and thumbstick tops that had some grip for the DS3 controller but this new one is great straight out of the box. It has a MOVE light on the side facing the PS4 that also changes in games which is interesting.

The unit itself looks lovely and nicer than my son's Xbox One, smaller too with a ambient line of light on the top that mirrors it's status. The UI is an improvement too (although I found nothing wrong with the PS3's which a lot of people didn't like), kind of like an in between of the Xbox One's and the PS3's.

So far loving it smile

Im looking forward to elite but not much else at the moment. Ive got to get me a new desk and chair and i think that might help. i hope so anyway lol.

Thanks smile

The only negative I have right now it that the battery in the controller doesn't last long at all before it needs recharging and I am guessing that big light on the front is the culprit! If only I could turn it off as I don't have a camera so don't need it.

Yeah the battery in the controller last abit shorter then on ps3.
what i do is since one of mine pc is basicly always on is that i charge the controller at the pc when im not using my ps4.
You can always charge it direct on the ps4 but i prefer to have the console turned off when im not using it.

Well, since the PS4 doesn't play PS3 games, it's been very easy for me to stay off the bandwagon.

Spent the last 2 days just playing the JRPG Disgaea D2.... dammit!

Got a Logitech Mediaboard Pro bluetooth keyboard yesterday (I know you were thinking about using a keyboard Ice) from Scan to use with the PS3/4 and is a very nice keyboard for £22.

It has a small trackpad on the right side but that doesn't seem to work with the PS4, does with the PS3 apparently though but not tried it yet.

I only have this for internet browsing though and not for playing games with so I can't vouch for that but the triangle, square, circle and cross keys are all on the board (circle is on the ESC key and X on the ENTER key for instance).

Makes it a whole lot easier to type smile

I'm using the Eagle Eye converter and a cheap wired keyboard and mouse. That's how I've been making progress in The Last of Us.

I've just brought a PS vita and they're very good although not very comfortable to use so I've just ordered a grip to help my sore thumbs.

I like how you can remote play on the Vita and quite fancy one myself. Does it have wifi and web browser?

Yes, Mace, the Vita has both wi-fi and a web browser.

Be warned, though, the Remote Play is intended for use when in close proximity (same house or apt.) to the PS4. In other words, it might not work so well when using, say, a public wifi spot to connect to your PS4 via the Vita.

I do love mine though.

Yeah mace it has both and the games run and look very nice, not sure how remote play works but I've heard its good. Its a really lovely machine with some pretty great games although a lot of them are weird obscure Japanese RPGs.
