The Mig-21Bis is the first DCS aircraft that i really love it. A true love at first sight.
In real life this is the aircraft which makes me want to be a pilot.
I wish best luck for the developers, and hoping for the best.

I would say that depends on how it is resolved. Maybe it is. Maybe it's more serious. We won't know until either it comes out or the statement is released that it won't, really.

I haven't been keeping abreast of this module and was surprised to see this information as of late. Wishing the best of luck to the Mig-21bis team in sorting out the issues. What-ever happens, you have my great respect for the work, sweat and tears you've put into this project and community. Good luck to you all.

I have no doubt I will be impressed. I think perhaps that is why this kinda stuff frustrates me so much, if this was some half ass game or addon (ala DNF) I wouldn't care. This is especially true when the leader of the project is hinting that it is all over and making the statements he has made.

That's just your perception. Flight sims have the same development pressures as other games, to put them on some higher plane is ignoring reality I think.

Mig-21Bis rised a lot of expectations and a huge interest in community - the videos/cockpit/models have even surpassed all these expectations and I know many people around me who don't post to the forums and were blown away by what the developers have shown. The hopes are high and I think that everyone supports the Mig. I for myself would like to express my deepest support and thoughts for the team to be able to complete it in time and solve any internal problems. I wish the team good luck and a lot of strength to cross the finish line.

The website still claims a March 30th release date:

http://www.dcs-mig21.com/press.htm

It also says additional information can be found at the ED forums, but that site is blocked here at work, for some reason.

The forum section is locked down until things have settled and the module is fully back on track.

Excellent news. This is probably the one thing that could get me back into combat simulations.
