Perhaps someone can advise or point me in the right direction.

For no reason that I can think of WOFF suddenly would just not load up and I started getting error messages:

'simulation.xml cannot be written to. Be sure you are the admin user. File "such and such" cannot be witten".

This error messages appears at each loading screen, until I get the WOFF crashes because of a .dll file or something.

It would seem that this simulation.xml file suddenly cannot be found by WOFF.

The only mods I have are Aris's clouds which I d/l from day one and have run WOFF dozens of times with it just fine.

Also, I just added Bletchley's missions and clicked the appropriate button in the Workshop. Ran the sim once as such and the error messages began thereafter.

So I removed them from the campaign data folder, but the same error messages referencing this simulation.xml still keeps coming up and crashing the sim on load up.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I have no clue, other than to ask, before or after you removed the files from the campaign data folder did you turn off the setting in workshop? Or are you not even able to get there?

Granted, I know it would auto turn off if you select it and have no mission files installed, but just wondering if it might have been an error from already having it on.

Support would probably be you're best bet, but you can try a few low tech things just in case.

1. Remove all mods from the game, return any nvidia or amd settings to their defaults, remove any overlay programs like ati tray tools or afterburner, reinstall directx and try to launch it again.

2. If you're able to get to workshop, then return all values to their default settings and try again. If you can't launch WOFF, then If you had a backup copy of your WOFF directory, then simply remove the old and replace with the copy.

As per the read me, please do NOT send problems with MODS to support.

The 3rd party mission setting will not break simulation.xml so it mus have been deleted accidentally or corrupted or open in another program etc.

I sent you a replacement simulation.xml try that - if not please reinstall.
