Why would you burn/backup your BMS directory? All you really need is a backup copy of your .key file and maybe the .cfg file.... I would've thought you'd burn/backup the BMS installers, plus any theatre installers of your choice. Then again, we go to the argument that these are only good until the next patch/update/release comes out. So I keep mine on an easily-accessible folder. Not like HDD-storage space is precious these days!
What this project is perfect for is getting new BMS players --- suppose someone was playing sims and wanted to try BMS but either had a poor internet connection or couldn't be bothered signing into the BMS website. Burn the installers, buy a blank DVD case and slip on one of these covers, and hand it to said prospect simmer.
BTW... how can I "burn" the image onto a DVD for a cool custom-looking DVD??
