HA, I actually split my account back in the day before they clarified multiple packages on one account. But by then my accounts were grandfathered in to have all the original backer rewards. So I figured I would just keep them and trade the ships to my main account later while maintaining all my pretty repair drones and lazer pistols!

As Xplor is now the largest self sustained deep space exploration organization in the Star Citizen universe, and made up of over 1040 primary members, we have decided we will open our doors to affiliate membership for a limited time.

We have chosen to invite you because your main organization SimHQ is focused on Bounty Hunting and as we have great exciting opportunities for bounties in deep space. We plan to train our bounty hunter allies, equip them with the best ammo, arms and technology possible.

We are building a formidable team of individuals to join our deep space mobile exploration platform/s. We have a powerful fleet/s led by 16 Idrii (2 of these are 100% org owned) with thousands of combat and support ships at the ready.

First we must warn you Xplor´s mission is not for the faint-hearted as we will always be expanding the boundaries of deepest space. We are interested in affiliates who would like to hunt challenging bounties, map new jump-points; find new rare and exotic technologies, identify and mine valuable resources encountered by our scanning teams, and entrepreneurial traders who will become rich capitalizing on the loot and artifacts we will discover.

We started out as a couple of friends who were in flight school together, and decided to start a specialist exploration group with a strong military component comprised of 16 Idrii and a host of other support craft. Our rationale is simple: our members will always have their backs covered so they can confidently go about their exploration and trade activities completely unhindered. Xplor will always be found at the vanguard.

Xplor is quite unusual in that we abhor the sort of ego building and management-creep often found in organizations. We only recruit through private invites such as this one, because we are looking to build a team of intelligent individuals who can cope with all situations and think quickly on their feet. We are all of equal rank as Sergeant Brothers in arms, as in spirit. This principle of genuine mutual respect for each other is a key differentiator separating us from just about every other Star Citizen organization.

Our military strength advantage stems from the fact we have a disproportionately high ratio of battle assets per member, which means our assets are concentrated and overwhelming, and not spread thin and diluted amongst large numbers. As we have designed that fundamental asset to be a mobile platform at all times, Xplor will be able to offer its members critical deep space support on a 24/7 basis.

Edit. I have just scrolled through a lot of pages on their members list. I would say that most had the tag "just joined" underneath them. What does this mean?

Are they on a massive recruitment drive to dominate tech an co-ords to sell off for real money? what kind of cohesion is there? do you think we have been chosen as a group or is this a spam recruit drive for other gains?

I did the same thing, and noticed the same thing with the "just joined" tags underneath. I think I'll see if any discussion pops up on the forums first, but my instinct right now is to say thanks but no thanks.

They are just spamming everyone to get people to join so they have a large corp. I say you just ignore it. If the game comes out and we actually play it and find some good like minded people then we can affiliate but for now I would say it is just a waste of time and a corp that large will just lose you in the static. If we do affiliate it should be with smaller closer knit groups IMHO.
