That would be the ride of a life time. one of my favorite things to do sim flying is follow terrain, it can be most anything, local mountains, grand canyon, water falls, but to do it for real would be a treat! My wife has family ties to Gwynedd Wales, maybe I could visit and watch.
Sometimes I went up north (Scotland) to do some fishing and I was awestruck to see the jets flying up the valley at low level. Other times I would not see them and the noise would just about give me a heart attack.
For enthusiast and people coming to take photos it is a great sight but people having to live with low flying jets on a daily(?) basis I am not so sure.

Shhhh! There are some valleys and Glens in Scotland where the jets fly lower than the cars drive Esp around Loch Assynt / Lochinver and further north with the bombing ranges at Tain and Cape Wrath

I used to be an SP at Lakenheath... love this video (have seen it before). I miss that sound every day of my life.
You'd think I'd be F-15 crazy and be building an F-15 cockpit and such.. but I can't quit the F-16. Just added this to the Obutto (still have plenty of work to do on it)
There was an "Urban myth" type story of a farmer from Gogledd Cymru (North Wales) who was so pissed off with all the low flying jets distressing his cattle and causing his milk production to dwindle that he climbed on top of his biggest barn with a tin of paint and a brush and wrote "Fcuk off RAF". As this attraction was spread by word of mouth through out the RAF, every day a new flight of jets swung low down the valley to see the farmer`s hatred for the aircraft ! True or not I do not know but an entertaining story any way !

For years Planes of Fame had to pay a dairy farmer next to the airport for his cows reduced milk output after their annual airshow so that part of the story rings true.
I remember being in England with my folks once as a kid and they always recalled a time in a town we were in where some fighters just came from nowhere rumbling overhead. I'll see if I can ask them if they remember where exactly it was.
We still have video of a trip to Masada in Israel and to my amusement there is and F-4 Phantom flying about. I didn't become and aviation nut until a few years later but its cool for me to see that now.

There is a pop concert held a few miles from where I live here in Belgium and on the first year it was held some of the pigs on the local farm had a heart attack and died, so legend says. Now they planted a wall of trees between the farm and the field where they have the concert to cut down the noise.
