Caught the first two episodes of this new crime drama last night and all I can say is, "wow"! Set in Louisiana in the mid Nineties starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as CID detectives hunting for a serial killer.

Woody is great as always, but McConaughey is just awesome as his partner. If he doesn't get a slew of awards for this part I'll be very surprised.

I am really enjoying it also. I am curious as to where it goes. The really interesting part to me is they are having police interview them current day and then going back and showing what happened. It jumps, but it is an easy one to tell the difference and really fits with the show.

I agree. And I heard nothing about this. I just happened to flip past the Sunday @ 9:00 slot, to see what was filling in, while we wait for GoT to re-start and was totally drawn in.

From Matt's flashback character of a scrawny "Sherlock meets Dexter", to his modern day character that looks like a homeless burn-out, he's waaay out of his comfort zone (and his weight class?!). He normally just smiles and takes his shirt off. smile

Can't wait to see how he gets from A to B.
