OK, this could be the dumb question winner:

I don't fly N11's much. But I am at the moment. In cockpit mode, with Lewis over wing, where is the gunsight cross hair point for aiming? Is it the very larger X that appears to be strut wires that cross in front of the wind screen?

Yes, use the crossed bracing wires as a gunsight and adjust based on the path of the tracers.

Hi Cptroyce,

you've got it.

I find the sights in any of the entente ac not much use to tell the truth. If you get
close enough you don't need them really. I usually begin firing from approx. 100 yds and its far easier for me to do as Mr.Lucky suggests and sight using the tracers - bit like lobbing snowballs.
