"avrdude.exe: ser_drain(): read error: The I / O operation has been aborted due to a thread exit or an application request"
If I change only the location of the firmware, its upload works perfectly.
Ok yes I have seen that error too, sorry, it has been 18mths since I had to do this on mine, but I found that every time I wanted to Flash the firmware I had to relocate/browse to the File in the Folder, even if it was pointed there already and then it worked. I am not sure if this is a 2016-08-18 problem or if all the firmwares have this issue.
I'm about to use a Nintendo Switch as a Hat analog, any advice? lol can it be done? url=https://ibb.co/2WkWprz][img]https://i.ibb.co/2WkWprz/170240.jpg
What kind of interface this "thumb-stick" use? The flat cable suggest something like serial or I2C.
Apparently this "thumb stick" work like Warthog throttle "slew", sliding and not tilting. In Warthog throttle "slew" operation is less than desirable, what lead some people in replace with this analog version.
Hi, just finished building a encoder, switches and buttons console for my X-Plane simulator flights and I'm amazed at how well MMJOY2 works with those little arduinos. Thank you so much @mega_mozg_13 and all the fantastic people that contribute in this topics, after reading tons of info I could understand everything.
Cheers

Hi, i'm trying to use MCP3208 and it's not working.
My board is Pro Micro. I've checked all the wiring and i can't see why no input is detected. If i plug my 10 slider "middle" on the F4 intSensor instead of Chan 1 of the MCP3208 , it's worling .
"Attention! MOSI, MISO in different firmware differ. This means, if you have soldered board connections for an 2014 firmware and after updated for an 2018 firmware, the axis stop work, due different pins for MOSI, MISO in this firmware, then need re-do wiring connections."

There is a newer 2018 MMjoy2 firmware? I have only seen some from 2015 and 2016 and am currently using version 20160818_upd as 20161101 didn't report buttons correctly for me....
Windows DInput support 10 or 12 axes, but the axes above # 8 are reserved for POV HAT - Saitek X-52 use some of this extra axis in extra POV HAT on throttle, hence need a specific firmware with support for this axes.
An previous MMjoy2 Firmware has support for 2 POV HAT.
Then, the practical use in most games still 8 axes - don't know about X-Plane.
