Howdy All,

Simple question really but got me struggling once in a while since I find dead-reckoning beyond my abilities so far.
How to show your plane icon on the map? Is it possible to show your position only, without revealing ennemies, and without inflight icons ?

I can't seem to find the appropriate tick-boxes in the Menu.

Cheers,
Slug

Navigation marker?

Doesn't work in the Stalingrad map yet.

Dead reckoning is quite easy though - 300kmh gives you 10km in 2 minutes. 15 minutes from Sgrad to Kalach on the Don. Or 10 minutes at 450kmh.

Try to find this place about 3km south of the bridge at Kalach and you'll see how good the map is!

The fact that your picture is NOT in icy winter does make it more difficult, you know! smile

but do navigation markers work on the 1st batch of missions ? I can't get it done.

Great pic Ian. Looks about as tough a place as the Normandy landing beaches in 44.
Found it on the map, but still get hopelessly lost as soon as Stalingrad disappears in the distance.

Cheers,
Slug
