Mods that we have sanctioned as safe to use with WOFF will either be on the downloads pages on our website, linked to, or incorporated into WOFF at some stage depending on permissions etc.

Use of any other mods may well break your game and you are on your own.

SWEET FX IS KNOWN TO BREAK WOFF use at your own risk

If you experience any problems while trying to fly WOFF, please review the following: (Posted elsewhere but worth repeating to help save any frustration)

Flight sims are complicated beasts. That's part of the reason so few are made anymore. Unfortunately, the more complicated something is, the easier it is to find something that doesn't appear to be working properly. If you find that is the case for you, may I please suggest the following very generic things to check to determine if you've found a real problem:

#1 Check your System Specs against the Recommended ones for WOFF. Make sure you have the gear to fly her right!

#2 Make sure you have the most current WOFF patch installed. See the OBD website if in doubt.

#3 Uninstall all Mods. Mods are great and I love them too, but for purposes of troubleshooting, deactivate them.

#4 Reset WOFF Settings in the Workshop. Put things back to defaults to see if that helps the issue.

#5 Try a fresh re-install of WOFF and the latest patch. Sometimes files get corrupted - especially if you are using mods.

#6 Look over the forums and see if anyone else has already posted about the same issue. If they have, look to see if someone has already found a solution and try that.

If none of that works and you still have an issue, then by all means post. Some basic guidelines for posting are:

#1 Keep the subject title professional. Wild accusations or blanket statements that "WOFF is broken" don't help. Something along the lines of "Having a challenge with X" is much more professional and far more likely to get a better response from others, including the Devs.

#2 Keep the description of the challenge that you are having as brief but as accurate as possible. Preferably a paragraph or two and it should answer the following questions:

WHAT HAPPENS? (That you feel that shouldn't be happening)
WHEN DOES IT HAPPEN? (Is there a specific place, plane, etc that seems to be when the problem occurs most often)
DOES IT HAPPEN CONSISTENTLY OR INTERMITTENTLY?

We are very fortunate to have both a community that really helps one another and Devs who have been extremely responsive in getting patches out as warranted if there really is a problem with WOFF. Taking the time to do the few troubleshooting steps listed above and then, if necessary, posting concise, professional queries on how to resolve your issue will go a long way towards keeping our community a great place to visit when we aren't actually flying WOFF.
