Just grabbed the add-on pack "Fokker Scourge" and downloaded the 1.12 patch. Does the install order make any difference?

High over the Front
As a follow up to this if a add-on pack ever needs to be patched will separate patches from the main patches be issued?

Will there ever be a time where I have to have an add-on pack to update the main game?

I am getting (in a few minutes in fact) Fokker Scourge but frankly Zeppelins (if they come) don't do it for me.
