One thing I would like to say is you are not only buying two aircraft but the squadrons, skins and campaign play associated with them.
We are not selling 'just aircraft' but all the campaign experience and immersion with the craft in the packs so that one can use the craft in the air war as they were historically in 1915/16.
There is a lot of work behind the scenes in each one of these packs - not just creation of two models and skins.
Hopefully that will become apparent when you play it.

I prefer to think about it as an investment in the future of the whole affair. Anyway, there's a piece of Gotha and Caudron and much more implied in this sum.

My first impression was, umm, a bit pricey,...after some more time thinking about it, well, support for the best ww1 sim came to my mind, so, as soon as I get home after work, you have another buyer guys

Imagine initial WOFF would cover all squadrons and so far available AC from about autumn 1916 on until the end of the war. No Aviatik, no Eindeckers, no early BE2c, no BE12, no Morane, no Nieuport 11 etc. You would of course say, wow, cool etc. and gladly pay for it, and you would buy it. And you would say, hopefully there will be also some coverage of early airwar etc.
Now imagine then there would be a fokker scourge addon with all squads which cover the early airwar and with it apropriate missions and all additional AC. Various Eindeckers, Aviatik, Nieuport 11, Nieuport 16, BE2 and BE12 variants, Morane. You would say cool, that's great, cool stuff, will gladly buy it etc. and you would buy it.
So actually some are punishing the Dev's because they already have implemented a ton of early war AC in the initial WOFF. Would they have left those early AC out in the first place, nobody would complain. You would buy WOFF and then the Fokker addon and be happy because there are a ton of additional AC. Actually the same price, same results, but you would think more of getting something for your money. Now think about it what you ALREADY got with WOFF, and what great piece of history you might add with the Fokker scourge addon. Just my two eurocents.

Yeah, pricing is a bit too steep for what is offered for me, too.
No big deal, I don't have to buy everything that's offered.

I don't find the add-on expensive. "Expensive" is directly proportional to the size of one's wallet and/or interest. I used to spend thousands-- thousands, folks--each year on cigarettes and booze. To see my favorite bands live costs at least a hundred bucks, for 90 minutes of music. Our cable bill is around a hundred bucks a month--and I don't even watch TV, because what was once The Vast Wasteland has become The Even Vaster Wasteland. So, for me, twenty five bucks is nothing. Especially for something that is interactive, won't give me cancer, won't give me Cirrhosis, won't stunt my intellect. Those comments regard me. Not trying to talk anybody into buying what they don't want or can't afford. (See second line of this post.) Looking forward to shooting down some E.Is! And now, bring on the Gotha!
