Many! WM said many! Here's hoping a full complement of buses and escadrilles for the Aviation Militaire Belge is being counted in that 'many'. smile2

So many interesting aircraft can be seen in manual enlistment. It says FE8 and Nieuport 12 are not available... yet. I guess we can forecast some of the future pack content using these hidden hints. Yummy!

An FB5? I may end up having a hard time leaving 1915.

lol... those lists aren't projections of all the aircraft they are going to introduce, just a historical list of the aeroplanes the squadrons used. smile
(Although I would love the devs to tell me I'm wrong)

I'm sure we'll be getting those missing aircraft sooner or later - at least some of them, if not all. smile

That depends on how much reliable? data there is on any particular aeroplane.

We have the data. It's a question of interest and support from the community

Will the new aiplanes available in the addon packs be available only in the campaigns via purchase of the addon packs?
Or will the AI be flying the new airplanes and when we purchase the addon packs we can fly them too?

I'm sure looking forward to flying a zepplin, as well as taking off from a flying zepplin!
It'd be great to be able to man the guns of a zepplin too, but will this be an option?

Broadside if its like HITR then no you have to buy the packs to get the planes full stop. Unlike ROF way of doing things. Personally I see no problem with this considering the amount of stock planes there are..ROF having so few planes needed to expand the AI set for free.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about purchasing the plane addons. Seems well worth it to me.
Just curious...

I hope there will be enough support from the community! RoF seems to be pretty much dead now, so if we want to have a WW1 sim with an excellent campaign system and amazing historical immersion, we'd better give the WOFF devs all of our support. In my opinion, they really deserve it. This is an extremely fun sim to play, and their customer support is incredible. Most other developers don't seem to be at all interested in listening to customer feedback and rarely change or add anything no matter how much the community wants it.

It would be a great shame to see WOFF development cease because there wasn't enough interest.

Is a Kickstarter type scheme thing an option if there isn't enough support long term? I only fly WW1 sims and i imagine i am not alone. Therefore you may have people willing to invest more money than others if it is their sole computer interest.

Kickstarter seems to be very popular these days. But it can be tough to get enough people to pledge for your product there, especially when we're dealing with a niche market like this. Recently there was a campaign to get funding for a new Red Baron game, but it failed, so they have to try again later.

These guys have devoted years of time, energy and effort, producing a fantastic WW1 sim!

I hope that they have held back some development ideas, campaigns, planes, scenery, etc.,for further releases, so that they can make a real viable enterprise of WOFF.

I'll buy anything that is produced additionally for WOFF; and I'm sure there are many who would as well.

Great product, excellent customer service, excellent fan base. Winner all around!

Hopefully, there will be added interest in things relating to the Great War due to the year we're in. It just might drag a few extra into what is such an obscure genre. One advantage of flying WWI is it's relative technological simplicity. Perhaps the developers might emphasise the scalability of a game that doesn't require a couple of hundred buttons-any newcomer can jump in and have a blast, if rather short to begin with. The game is a simulation of being a pilot in the First World War, a type of role-playing, rather than strictly a flying simulator.
