My 2yr old is basically disinterested in everything on TV most of the time, even cartoons, unless there's music. Anything, Disney or Nick, she can wander off and start playing with toys until music and singing starts, then she's glued to the screen until it's over. The 5 yr old has far more patience and will watch entire Disney movies. On occasion she even watches "older" stuff like Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppins, but she has to be in the right frame of mind ie already tired and not up to running around!
She's currently head-over-heels into Frozen. Has a stuffed Olaf and Sven she carries around constantly.

Olaf is a summer-loving snowman and Sven is a reindeer. So...not really.

Frozen is a beautiful film, took the 3-yr old, really impressed with it. Proper Disney.

What I have seen so far in the series I am not a fan of the new CGI versions.
Wheels What specifically don't you like? Does the cgi look fake?

I've watched some of these. Every now and then they get an actor/actress who just blows a scene... then the next... it just seems the other actors won't wait for the other to catch up. But more enjoyable than I though they would be. Of course, teh CGI is always good.

Considering how minor most of the adjustments are other than the ships in space shots, I'm surprised people really notice. Unless you prefer the same 5 shots of the model Enterprise they used back then, that is.
The shuttle in The Galileo 7 in particular looked nicer than the "model on a table" look from before.
And the Doomsday Machine looked so much nicer than the aluminum foil one eating the tiny burnt model of Decker's ship.

Been watching TOS in it's entirety with the GF over time. Half the entertainment factor is being out of date and the other is the inventive episodes. One things for sure, I sure as hell wouldn't want to be stationed on that ship!

Also count the number of times he laughs like "I'm charming, screw me please?"

Wheels What specifically don't you like? Does the cgi look fake? The CGI isn't that bad I am just so used to the old versions that any changes stick out like a sore thumb to me Wheels
