Both sides had Javelin?
Interesting span of time covered here.

Some context for these images would be nice. Perhaps next time I will put together a proper AAR with context. If I have time that is...

Interesting span of time covered here. What screens are you referring too? Well they aren't numbered. But 7th from the top what look like Javelin teams but with AK-74 small arms walk past BTR-80. 3rd from bottom FRG team (based on helmet and shoulder flash) sets up in sunflower field. The time span bit related to early Leo 1's and Javelins on same piece of dirt (nothing necessarily wrong with that if the focus was on entertainment or give an opportunity to learn/refresh Javelin drills, etc.).

Is that not a Metis for one side and Javelin for the other?

I'm not sure about the Russian troops but assumed they were using Russian ATGMs. As you are aware, in SBPE sometimes the graphic model is not available and Esim uses stand-ins until someday when they update graphic models for the particular weapon. For example as you probably already know the Russian LMG teams in each squad use the PK MG but we only have two choices for graphic model that you actually see in the game, those being MG3 and .50 cal. There is no graphic model for the PK currently. Now is the graphic we see the actual graphic of the weapon or a stand-in? I don't know. I'd have to look that up in the editor. Can't answer the second question relating to FRG missle trooper. Might be same as first question on first ATGM team pic. I would have to check the editor.

Well, Gibsonm has set a high standard for AAR's now...will be hard to top ;-) That is for sure. I'm anticipating a lot of work if I do one to that standard.

Is that not a Metis for one side and Javelin for the other? To be honest I don't know. I don't know what the individual weapons actually look like. I do know that you set the weapon system in the editor and it works like it should but sometimes as explained in another post, the graphical representation is not there yet. Don't know if this is case for these weapons. I did not make the scenario.

Is that not a Metis for one side and Javelin for the other? Doubt it. Metis (AT-13) isn't modeled. Soviet / GDR "doctrinal" missiles in the sim are AT-3 and AT-4 - both of which have the small tripod type setup and no big cylinder missile tube. Other ATGMs modeled in the Sim are TOW, Spike, Milan and Javelin (don't think I missed any - except maybe RBS-70 but its primarily air defence) but of course these should only be carried / lugged around by NATO.

Thanks for your work enigma the screen shots look great. You really do have an eye for this stuff. What I liked about this mission is are training officer added some really Difficult opfor defensive positions And extremely well designed kill Zones. We managed to complete most but not all are objectives. But most importantly we kept are cohesion and calm.
