I've yet to try it again, but I did get the menu up. This one pre-dates Rust Snap, but I think I got Rust not long after.
Rust will come back once they give it some time to cook. Same thing happened with this one. We messed with it a fair bit and it ended up kind of repetitive and needed further development to give it more life. Looks like they've given it a lot more life now.
Maybe Tues night have a group game night? It will be nice to play with the new developments with nighttime.

Current games I am playing:

Single player: (just for information)
The Witcher
Mass Effect
Banished
South Park Stick of truth (when it goes on sale)

Multiplayer: (looking for buddies)
7 Days to die (private server, pve...lots of e)
payday 2 (moving this with one buddy to wednesday night 8:30 cent)
Rust (I enjoy playing this with Snap but we need more help)
Dayz (waiting for more updates first)
AirLandBattle (missed this sale, I'll pick it up next time)

There are other games that I am interested in COOPing like ARMA3 and Starcraft2 but Im not interested in PVP in these.

I went and bought this. Haven't launched it yet as I've been sucked into Shadowrun Returns Germany story... great stuff so far.

I'm up for Coop if you throw out a time/venue.

Just ran the game to tweak the graphics and settings but other than that I have been mostly watching youtube instruction videos to get up to speed before I play a proper solo game later this week.

I like the new Alpha 7 Build. Looks a whole a better than the blocky early builds and the additional crafting features are certainly welcomed. Game is fleshing out nicely.

Now, I assume you have attached metal doors to that playhouse. Also, I would advise building a labyrinth of interior rooms to hide her stuff in.

I am out of town til this weekend but in the past I have setup a public server with a password. When I get back in this weekend I will probably be playing. When I do, I will get onto a 7 days TS room here. Anyone will be welcome to join.

I watched a recent video for this game and I decided to pick it up. I was put off in the past by that frame box animation used for picking up items. I only played for about 15 minutes yesterday, but I like what I see so far.

Hey hey. My old DayZ buddy. Fancy seeing you here. Gravitating towards wherever there is zombie infestation. We should hook up on this and kick some zed a$$es. It'll be like the Alamo at Berezino all over again.

7 Days reminds me very much of another game I enjoyed a long time ago.....Dungeon Keeper. It has the same mechanics but a much deeper crafting system. Finally they got rid of much Voxel blockiness with Alpha 7

7 Days looks more polished than Rust. Although I wonder why they don't include server ping in their server browser. It looks like fun and seems to run well.

Tip to the new guys:

Bottle in river => Murky Water => replaces minor thirst
Murky Water cooked in container in campfire => bottled water => replaces medium thirst
bottled Water cooked in campfire with yellow flower => goldenrod tea => replaces maximum thirst

Zombies can smell non canned food you are carrying.

Wow! It really has come a long way. Look at these houses, and the tunnels look amazing.

I'm bogged down with work this week and not getting the amount of gaming time I want.

But I am planning a full all-out assault on 7 Days To Die this weekend.

Rust is still on my menu. It can be hilarious on some servers.

Last weekend I was a caveman with bow and hatchet on a 75 player server. As you can imagined, it was full of naked new spawns and naked men with guns. So I was somewhere in the middle of the food chain.

I chased a Thai guy for a number of kilometers taunting him on VON all the time, laughing like a jacka$$ and carrying on like a total d1ck (which admittedly is a lot of fun on a server that does not encourage inhibitions). He talked to me in Thai which I do not understand a word except when he called me a "motherf*cker" in his Thai accented English. The guy pulled out some distance from me but he took a mostly curving path and I closed to hatchet range by pulling lead and cutting into his turn. It was getting dark. He already took two arrow hits from me. Guess he was running low on food and bandages and made desperate run into Rad Town in an effort to discourage pursuit. I think he took the worst part of the deal because he was the first to run past a pack of Red Wolves and Bears in the middle of Rad Town and they all latched onto him. It was pretty hilarious because I was running in the middle of this pack of Red Wolves who ignored me completely with all of us after the Thai guy. I was cackling like an idiot and making stupid wolf howls over VON just to let him know I was still behind him.. We were both taking rad damage by this time but my blood was in the green as I had plenty of food and meds to consume. I guess he was in a bad way. He turned a corner and promptly ran into Red Bear that killed him with one swipe LOL

Another guy I chased had an Indian accent. Almost killed him with a couple of hatchet blows but it turned into another long chase. Throughout my taunting, I kept yelling for him to "Give me all your f**king money!" and he kept replying "Stop" or "Stop chasing me". At one point, he said "Don't make me shoot you". I call that a bluff from a naked guy holding just a rock and I asked "You are going to shoot me with what ? Your one-eyed snake ?" I chased him into amongst a bunch of player buildings and someone nailed him with shotgun. I managed to get away.

Life's good.

Not cool, having a bad day or something? LOL Too many people playing like that already, they don't need more. I think Rust will be waiting on me for a very long time before it's good enough for my time.

Started up the SimHQ game was had going a while back with Feetwet and Kludger. The house was still there. It's odd though, you try to put out stone blocks and they don't fill in like they used to, so it's hard to fix the house and build. I guess you need to make cobblestone or something. Continued the tunnel under the house, which looks great now. I like not having to jump cubes to get out. I guess it was too deep or an issue with the updates since I popped out in a cave underneath the map and couldn't go further.

I'm not sure how those people on Mack's server created their safe area? I didn't see a fence.
I'll probably start the game up again on some easy settings while I'm by myself and do some exploring. It would be nice to get a group game going again.

Aww, come on. Don't be like that. It was just an outer manifestation of my inner demons wink They need to be purged now and then.

Anyone care to join up and help me get started?

Hey Snap, I just got 7DTD last week. I'm clueless myself. I'm probably going to watch some YouTube videos to get some idea of what to do. It seems I've got zombies on me right away and they are everywhere. How do you get established to have some degree of security and a place to call home?
