USED it once and very fine, sensitive, smooth, excellent. But way to complex for me. At 77 I will use my old js as I am no longer able to program commands. So, new in box, complete, fine $403 shipped from China..but now $275 shipped to you in the US. I saved the box just in case. But it sure was fun to once again experience the joy of anticipation. Feel free to ask questions. I will use UPS but please be aware of weather related shipping problems. You will get shipping info to track. If overseas I will get costs and insurance and charge you my costs plus $275.00.

Does this use its own drivers/software?

This is a little to vague, what does it mean. Can you map the triggers in flightsims own software or are you depended on a software that does not work

I think the link that StrykerPSG posted above will answer questions from the last two posters. I wish I hadn't just thrown a wedding for my daughter or I would snatch this up in a heartbeat. This looks like a very good deal.

Has anyone else besides Germanicus1936 tried one of these?

I'm curious as to what the experience of other users is.

I own one of them and it is a very good Joystick. I can compare it to the Thrustmaster Warthog and the Black Mamba is the better Stick out of the Box IMO though the Grip isn't as nice and comfortable as the Warthogs. I pretty much prefer the Warthogs Handle and Buttonplacement. But the Mambas Gimbal system is much smoother and is made of quality Aluminium, where the Warthogs internals are mostly Plastic and prone to the well known sticktion issues which needs to be fixed by yourself. One thing I like with the Warthog more is the centering system,it feels more natural than the Mamba. The Mamba has a similar centering feel like the CH Sticks use,but that's up to personal preference.
Luckily there are add-ons planned where you can connect the Warthogs and other brand, like CH or Saitek, Handles to the Mambas base,if someone prefers that. Also an Extension to the Stick is planned, which would make the Mamba an even better stick ,even compared to my Warthog with a 10cm extension.

Internet
Other diference is that programing for buttons is stored in internal memory (AFAIK at moment GUI only in Russian).
And easy to exchange springs.

Other acessories in development, the "Throttle BoX", a interface that mix Mamba with Cougar throtte (or G-940 plus pedals and Gametrix ECS). All is see by Windows as one device.
