I received a copy of ROF: ICE boxed for Christmas last year but my computer at the time wouldn't run it, so I never even installed it. It's been sitting in the shrinkwrap until I opened it today. I finally have a system that should run it. Installation went without a hitch, but once I reached the registration/login screen and tried to register all I get is a "master server not available, check internet connection" message. I tried to go to the ROF website and just register there. I managed to register an account but when I click on the link in my email to activate it I get this message: "HTTP Error 403.6 - Forbidden: IP address of the client has been rejected."

Anyone have any ideas? I would really like to try this sim! I've been waiting almost a year while drooling over screenshots.

I get that error visiting the webpage now also. It is probably due to planned server outages to install the new patch. I think it is supposed to be finished at 17:00 GMT (3.25 hours from now).

There are problems with the master server starting within the last day or two. Everyone is having problems. So it is not on your end.

The game is working for me now. Maybe I am on a different server in Illinois, USA. The web page gives me that error message though.

Anyone still having problems seeing servers on the multiplayer screen? I only see 7 servers total.

There is a weird ServerProxy message that is stopping us in Western Europe from putting up a server. Seems the US guys can manage it tho. 777 and Jason are aware of the issue and are working on it. Seems it might be an issue outside of RoF so keep calm and carry on

Things are well now, I just had to wait a day and everything is on the up and up. Well, except for my skill with these kites...like learning all over again.
