Couple of new missions for tonight, we have to blow up some trucks hidden in some buildings and some helicopters at an old airfield! 1am UK, 8pm EST

Actually at that point I believe that Speed of Sound was active. I had installed JSRS and Speed of Sound but was testing the latter.

After far more time on the Bohemia Interactive Wiki/Forums than I wanted to spend this morning, I think I've figured out what is causing our revive script to kill us so easily.
The function the script uses to check when you get hit returns all parts of the player that have been hit every time any part of the player takes damage.
Without the revive system, the game has a series of checks it runs to see if you are sufficiently dead. If you took a hit that dealt >.9 (out of 1) damage to your head or torso, then you die. If the sum of your torso, head, leg, and hands damage is >.9, you die. If you got hit in the hands or legs, then you will not immediately die, but it will get averaged to your cumulative damage score. (this is why shooting people in the legs kills them eventually).
Our script checks to see if it receives a value that is >1, and if so incapacitates you. It doesn't care where you got hit, just the severity.
