is anyone doing manual navigation on WOFF and are the maps and terrain ingame sufficient? related to this, I cant find a key to switch of the plane on the map, is this possible?

For viewing enemy planes, first use the 'Next Enemy' hotkey, then you can toggle the 'Padlock View' key on/off, as needed, to lock your view on that aircraft.

When Padlock is on, you can continue to use the Next Enemy key and it will switch your padlocked view to each new one as you do so.

If you want more screen indicators, there are a couple extra on/off hotkey options such as direction cones, brackets, and text info. I just tend to fly with my Tac display up and use padlocking so that there isn't anything overlaid on the actual enemy aircraft.

I don't see any 'next enemy key' only 'next target' and 'next friendly' none of which work.

I just started a campaign mission with friendlies on the field. control tab default is next friendly but when I press it nothing happens.

Bring up your TAC display (Shift+T) and when you see enemies pop up on it, then use the 'Next Target' hotkey. You will see that one of the enemies are selected on the Tac display.

There are no visual indicators when you use the 'Next Enemy' selection, by default. You have to turn on all the extra optional visual cues for that. Such as Target Cone Indicators (I), Labels (L), and some other stuff. You need to enable some of those before you'll see visual cues.

I love the period key to make distant aircraft "dots". I just wish that it wasn't so bright!!!

When TAC is up you can start targeting, enemy or friendly, you can then hide TAC and carry on targeting things.You can also switch to target to player view once you actually have an enemy or friendly targeted.

isn't it possible to have the external camera switch to friendly and enemy planes? im not talking about padlocking here.

im sure it was possible in OFF.
