I wish I could hand him an expert editing community that would help with the difficulties. I also wanted to add that there are a few guys over in the ED forums who really help work through a lot of the issues we have. Grimes is probably the top, Speed used to (but he's taken an LOA from DCS I think), and then others like St3v3 and a few others have really been a big help with the scripting side of things. Guys like Snoopy / Paulrkiii helping out with technical questions and really demonstrating passion for the aircraft. But my hat's off to Grimes in particular- he goes above and beyond for so many people over at ED... Crew and I have no shortage of ideas... but it's all for nothing if we don't have a bunch of enthusiasts coming in, helping others learn while keeping the atmosphere light. I'm ALWAYS hearing about how awesome you guys are and how well you treat the newcomers. I hope to support whatever sustaining that reputation requires into the future! I keep thinking, 'this is my last new mission before EDGE is released'. But then I had an idea for this, and that, and this! I'm just about finished with The Bridge for the F-15C vs Su-27. The next one is tentatively titled 'World Of Tanks' heheehehehee that will be a simple A-10C tank fest w/o those pesky air defense threats. ^^^ There is a place on the Balkans map called 'Workers Paradise' -- if I can find it again -- I just want to bomb the shlt out of it. --- Yes, hats off to Grimes, St3v3, and all the collaborators at DCS Forums and here at SimHQ! ---

Any chance of getting the UH-1H some tasking orders for a gunship role? Hi Hitman, A couple of missions on the Hollo Pointe server are tailored to the Huey -- Road To Persa Huey Apocalypse A lot of the other missions also have Huey slots. When you select the server in the MP Lobby, you can see the list of a/c in each mission in the mission summary at the bottom of the screen. I can put one of these up if you want to request a time. --- Over half a mission views -- awesome! WC

WC I might be interested in doing that sometime soon, I have a bunch of 229th guys who need something to do other than putter around in our training servers, and we really need to do something outside of just squadron events. We really need some Co Op roles with other wings, to keep things interesting.

Made a few changes to wartweasel to improve stability near the end... The end scenario with the troops seconding bus transportation was causing crashes any time they were hit... also, I think when they were going to "random zone" (MIST) was causing de-synchronization of clients and server- so I have removed that until it is fixed.
The guys DO try and escape but it's in a convoy of BTRs instead of busses and unarmed transports- so keep a lookout.
Should be stable now... What a shame- I had a hardware issue result in a full crash... and I went in just now to see how Wartweasle was doing and noticed it was an "effects.dll" error again. Not to mention the fact I've eliminated all the things I thought were guilty. My next guess would be that the vehicles that I've turned AI off on somehow have something to do with it. If you've destroyed all 3 command posts... then many vehicles crews "retreat" and find a means of escape- It used to be civilian vehicles and now it's relatively quick moving BTRs. To do this, I turn the AI off on a number of different vehicles... And I think when those get killed, it causes an error. They've told me not to submit any logs but I think I'll rearrange it so instead of turning them off, I have them perform a flat out retreat towards Ochamchira. My only issue with doing that is that the vehicles are having some issue in maintaining a hold order- so I'm going to play around with that. We had about 15 guys in the server today at one point and it seemed pretty stable and running steady. It's a shame it has to end that way. On a plus note, this new "track" function they have with the crashes will really help figure out what causes issues and hopefully expedite the fixes.
