I pretty good game, thou not a fan of the memory thing, but at least this is a virtual video game memory thing, not some ansester crap... Just starting with it, pretty good, best in series maybe? Still so issues, like doing something you didn't want to do...

BUT this is how NEXT GEN should of been...

It is a gorgeous game, and in my opinion, the best in the series. Having a blast with this one.

This looks nice. I got both this and Splinter Cell: Black List for free with my new video card purchase (GeForce GTX770).

Looking forward to trying this one (especially if the crashes with the PC version of BF4 continue).

Yeah, loving this on my xbone. Really shows off the power of the system. Also, any titlles this are now unplayable on my pc, as I cant go back to the regular 360 controller. The changes are minor, but make a hige difference.

Me too! Played the first section and already really like this. The ship battle in the beginning was one of the best game intros I've ever seen. Really grabs you. I hope the rest is as good. I'm just now back on the ship with the merchant guy. It's impressive that from the look of the character I could tell it was the guy from Pacific Rim (and SOA, but I haven't watched that yet).
Got that Batman game too, but I haven't finished Asylum and City yet. Some good choices to show off the card.

I'm somehow reminded of Far Cry 3. Some of the pirates look a little too much like Vaas to my liking. Other then that, hell of a ride..

I'm a crappy pilot, but one hell of a shot.

wow, I never got that impression, there was one time on a walk through Nassau where I mixed up Blackbeards voice with whatever the guy who always wears blue is called, really messed up things for me, as one of them was urging to stay under the radar and the other couldn't give a rip, and for the rest of the game there was this nagging feeling that they're both contradicting themselves, even though I realized after a bit I'd gotten them mixed up.

It is pretty and I'm enjoying it on PS3. However, I would have hoped a next generation iteration would have volumetric or at least more of a 3D rendering of cloud and more organic atmospheric rendering as well as some basic water physics for when your character wades through water similar to the water effects in Naughty Dog's games.

Could someone please tell me if it really needs 30GB on the PC harddrive? Seems a tad excessive...

22.1GB, but the install process requires a little more. It has a separate file for install cache, which empties afterwards.

Thanks. For sure my 120GB SSD is nearing the end of it's useful life as gaming drive...

That's your laptop, isn't it? I guess no way to just add another useable drive, unless there's an e-SATA port.

Now that this game is on sale I am thinking of getting it. I would like first to know if the game is more like Far Cry3 which I have and really don't like - or is it like Skyrim which I just got and found it to be much more fluid in play and fun from the start with plenty of great weapons to choose from and, unlike FC3, you can have more than one good weapon from the start. FC3 clunky and tough to gain anything, Skyrim great game play and so much to do and get right from the start.

There's lots to do but AC games aren't like FC3 or Skyrim. It has lite rpg elements with heavy story based campaign and missions. You can free roam and explore which is great. NPCs are not as interesting as those in a full blown RPG like Skyrim.

I hear that Black Flag is a good starter for those who never played AC in the past. I enjoy and appreciate these games for their story richness intertwined with scifi and historical fiction (that's fiction with a capitol F) and production value despite some of the story contents that have been really offensive to me in the past.

I'm not far in, but it isn't really like anything else so far. If it has similarities to FC3 or Skyrim, it's just in the most basic sense as an RPG type game. Go here to buy this, get a mission and go there etc. You could compare the movement to Mirrors Edge I suppose, but I only played that briefly. Might say there's some SC Blacklist in it too.
