Got my invite to the ESO Beta today, downloading the game now. Anyone else get an invite? Maybe we could play together sometime.

Nope frown

Hope I get one eventually. Would be perfect right now to make up for the disappointment of Rome 2.

It has been getting a lot of flack everywhere I've been reading about it. Now I'm not straight up excited or think it looks perfect but if it maintains the gameplay of Skyrim and the atmosphere it might very well be worth playing. However without the atmosphere, maybe not so much.

But I'd love to try it.

Ahh well, it's not like "open beta" yet I guess and only playable on certain days at certain times.... unfortunately for me I work this Friday evening when it's suppose to open up for a little bit.

I got an invite as well. I really enjoyed Skyrim, so I'm hoping it stays as close to Skyrim as possible. An NDA is in effect - FYI...

I got to play it last night. Getting ready to play again in a few. So far it is awesome. Very few issues I saw despite the release date being so far off. There was some server issues and glitches the first hour, but they fixed them quickly.

There is a ton of nice features that is included.

The developers have incorporated many aspects of Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim into the game. Example: Lockpicking uses the Oblivion style and is timed, if unsuccessful when the timer runs out, your lockpick breaks. Skill trees and everything is very simple and straight forward.

It takes a lot longer to level up then WoW and I mean a lot. I played over 2 hours on one alt and she is still only half way into level 3.

I will definitely be preordering it.

Are these keys just going out in the US or something?

If anyone is interested. I believe this is a load test for this weekend only.

Greetings,

Just a reminder that The Elder Scrolls Online beta test starts tomorrow night at 6PM EST (Friday). Have you created your account, verified it by email, downloaded the client, and patched up? If not, get started! You don't want to miss a minute of the action. Here is your beta key in case you haven't used it to create an account yet:

No clue, that might be a unique key for me? But I have never made an account or used the key so go for it.

The key is tied to your email address I belive. I know when you play the beta your email addy is watermarked across the screen so if you post screen shots they know who did it.

My brother played all weekend literally, prolly slept for an hour here and there,

From watching, the FPS seemed butter smooth compared to Skyrim and Oblivion.

I got an Invite but was too busy this weekend to actually download.

not to mention, My ISP had a fit over my brother downloading 20 GB, so If I did too,.. they prolly woulda disabled my account.

If it's smooth because the detail is lowered, it's not really an improvement.

That said, I have almost no issues with an almost-unmodded Skyrim on my PC. It's a rare occasion when I get a stutter or slowdown, and that was with my GTX570. With the 770, I don't know if I've seen one yet.

Plays extremely well on my system and looks great. DCS works my GPU harder.

DCS works everyone's PC hard regardless of what they have!
