No biggie Jim- I'm not sure that's a known problem judging by the reaction I got over at ED.
To the contrary, if you can duplicate it easily it's a little easier to prove to the devs. One of their testors (Sith) is working on it and if he can't reproduce it then it'll likely mean that the problem is fixed in the testers version. Had a look at Tacview and it seems like the crash happened when the rockets actually hit the BMD-1. The first few rockets landed long or short (so maybe it's to do with the damage state modelling or weapon impact effect of rockets on the BMD-1?)

I was on Eno's Firehouse a little bit last night, no luck in reproducing, but I didnt run into a BMD-1 either, I did kill some arty with some HE rockets, but no crash, I hope to jump in again tonight and see if I can get it to happen, if anyone else has it happen, and by chance logs are produced, or even better, a track, get it to me. Thanks guys!

I'll send you the server side track sith... I'll try to figure out which one it is. Cool, and give me the names of the pilots that had the crash if possible.

Still not 100% sure what kinds of rockets he had on- Eno, not sure but they were preloaded when I spawned on the ramp, I didn't change any loadouts. All the rockets were fired in that one pass. If it helps, my A10a is from FC3 downloaded from the DCS store. This was actually the first time I flew it online, lol. Also the first time I have knocked anybody off the server. I'm available for testing in the evenings if it can help.

I haven't got any feedback on that- as you know we don't often get feedback but I do continuously see a couple views on each submission so I know they're looking!
I just posted a new mission- It's part of the Georgia Peach campaign... but it's more of a "filler" mission that occurs kind of like the night one does. One of those "Day to Day" missions that pilots engaged in such activities might experience.
In this case, it's a hunter killer ADA group that is working throughout the Southern Sector. The mission is randomized in such a way that it should be quite different each time you run it. It's a "Safe" random- without a bunch of fragile scripts etc.
This group SHOULD be skulking throughout the AO in silence... then once it's in position it will radiate for a certain amount of time in hopes of an ambush. If the fishing isn't that great, it'll shut down and go to the next spot.
The group, built around an SA8, SA9 and a Shilka are working in the company of the Sborka long range search radar. This gives the group enhanced abilities to get target information from the search radar and allows the group to engage at maximum ranges almost instantly after achieving a lock. I'm interested to see how it works as I've only just read about how they work cooperatively together.
MOST of the mission will be spent with the group in transit from place to place- so while there is an additional hazard... it's for short bursts. Keep both eyeballs open.
Additionally, artillery has moved into a position East of SukBab airbase. They're not playing nice and while the occasional shell hits the airbase, most of them are landing in the surrounding urban areas. SU25s can be expected to take a poke at local defenses, and depending on how the mission plays out, Hind choppers may not be far behind. Again- keep your eyes open but don't get sucked down low... (that may just be what they're trying to do!)
Small armored patrols are also moving throughout the area and these are considered targets of opportunity. Hit them if the opportunity presents itself.
Two JTAC positions are available but a person will need to be quite patient in assuming these roles. Not to say that things come on slow- I've tried to put them in a position where they should have a good view of the extended battlefield. You're high enough that you should be able to see many, many miles!
Destroy the SAMs, destroy the convoys, and destroy the artillery group for a victory condition. The mission will reload- and won't be the same way twice.

Hmmm- was just looking at the chat logs and noticed there was some remark that the mission was FUBAR... Anyone got some input on what happened so I can fix it?
EDIT:
Interesting- went into the mission editor to hunt around for potential problems and noticed that the version stepped back to my last saved version... erased a whole bunch of changes that I'd made before I put it up. Thing is, I know for a fact that when I had looked at it last night the briefing had been changed... so I know the version that I put up was the right one.
Then this morning, I checked again and it was the right version. I shut it down and went to open it up and it was the old version.
VERY strange.
