Having setup everything nicely, here are a couple of missions to practice on! BT7 Mission 1In which your fast-moving platoon proves a force to be reckoned with!BT7 Mission 2In which you show, it's not the size of your gun, it's how you use it!Get your missions here! http://www.4shared.com/rar/jdMMtwJO/BTMissions.htmlor here: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0Bw-dX8HhpsH8ekJlUkJ5aXZqLWMRemember to add these entries to the 'user_camp.engcfg' file! KY_BT7_01, txt_mc_btmission_1, 1, 0, Back_BT01.jpg, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_history_bt, ags062230, levels\levels\cm_users\KY_BT7_01.level; KY_BT7_02, txt_mc_btmission_2, 1, 0, Back_BT02.jpg, txt_cit_01, 30, txt_history_bt, ags062230, levels\levels\cm_users\KY_BT7_02.level;Other requirements:
The following mods are needed, to run these missions:
1. SPM 2.0 or NTA 1.7. Follow the recommended installation sequence given in the links.
2. BT-7 tank download (The post just above this one). Follow the instructions carefully. Blow away the enemy with your firepower and run them over with your tracks! But most importantly, have fun!

Isn't that strange how the turret hatches open forward. How was the crew expected to see in front of them. Not much point in unbuttoning if you can't see anything! Lol! Nice job, though. Does it have an interior? If you guys ever get the Sherman and Stuart in there, I'm gonna pick this up.

It was very soft I believe! you could take a kalashnikov and shoot through it!!!

Rifle maybe - At certain range, however kalashnikov could probably easily defeat it. it is still very soft part of the tank! Pardon my ignorance, General. We've reached the point where you'll claim to have witnessed such a feat?

ahahaha not at all, however kalashnikov has high penetration power, combined with the modern ability for alot of small arms to defeat light vehicles and transporters with heavy infantry volley fire!
hatch tops can often be a the weakest part of the tank especially in WW2, try to find the statistics!
although this is just my personal thesis, I maybe wrong, however fairly certain calibre of atleast kalashnikov can penetrate the erect micky-mouse hatches

LOL, why would they make a hatch cover out of aluminum? To save weight? Why the enemy should just vault on top and fire through the hatches. Save tank ammo that way. BTW, I assume your are referring to the AK-47 when you say Kalashikov. It was not deployed until 1949, well after this tank was no longer in use. So it's kind of a moot point.

LOL, why would they make a hatch cover out of aluminum? To save weight? biggrin Why the enemy should just vault on top and fire through the hatches. Save tank ammo that way. only in movies! safer way would be deploy anti tank rifle or calibre of 12mm-14.5mm and fire, BT is very soft tank!.. or maybe leave them alone because hatch would be too heavy to lift by greedy crewmen yes friend I am speaking of the universal ak-47 I don't use WW2 to measure because of difference in small arms then. modern small arms and kalashnikov could engage infantry vehicles and armored carriers like BTR. but in WW2 not unfortunately for the poor soldiers however probably BAR-size and MG-42 could still threaten carriers and BT and other light tanks

Not to sound pedantic or anything, but tanks like the BT weren't 'soft' vehicles. Thinly armoured, yes, but armoured nonetheless. Hence they remain hard targets.
And in the context of WW2, their armour gave the crew protection from MG and other small-arms fire. (not counting anti-tank rifles, which were specially designed for the purpose).
So I really don't think anything like that infamous 'Saving Pte Ryan' scene actually happened,

So I really don't think anything like that infamous 'Saving Pte Ryan' scene actually happened, It has probably APC/BTR level armor.. but yes almost enough for protection from small arms, but at ranges and at certain angles, company-sized infantry with SMGs and MG-42s I assume can destroy a BT-7 if they rain deathly bullets on it. with WW2-style armored steel and even soviet production which I believe was not high quality this would not provide protection at the highest level.. bullets will penetrate, but what will they effect? that is why heavy calibre like 50.calibre must be used, in the pacific they used them against the japanese tanks particularly type-95 Ha-Go successfully according to reports!

Ha-Go's armour is very weak compared with BT of last series.
1) BT-5 mod 35 in hull front have up to 40 mm and 20 mm in turret front and driver hatch. 13 mm around of surface hardned armor.
2) BT-7 20 mm hull/turret front and 15 mm around, 13 mm rear.
For example Ha-Go 3) 12 mm Front, 10-6 mm around. Like armor car.
Armor penetration performance for AP bullets for this time is lower than 10 mm for standard bullets and about 20 mm for composite. In best case on 200-300 m distance at 30 degrees from normal. As we can see Ha-Go no problems at close range and even on 500 m for ATRs and HMGs. But BT is at the limit, even at close range - you need to target vulnerabilities, thats difficult.
