I continue to work. Some details have already been made. But I have no more money to finish. Here you can read the news - http://avia-sim.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=629&start=630
I plan to put my version of KG 13D (game) here on these devices -
1. joystick on the floor - http://avia-sim.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=704
2. stick under the chair - http://avia-sim.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=758

I'm doing two versions of the painting. And I still need your advice. The hammer of brass painted black? Or leave as is - yellow? It is clear what I'm asking?

The Russians are coming. The Russians are coming.

IL-2. Then DCS, VKB and now BRD. More great engineering.

(Okay, okay. Can't forget Chekov, Solzhenitsyn, Gogol, Tarkovsky, Gagarin...)

Where do we sign up to buy your terrific bit of kit?

Regarding the hammer. Simple brass is less paint, thus cheaper production cost. People who care can paint it themselves.

I suspect most buyers will want historical accuracy.

Have you figured out the spring for the trigger? Usually the spring works well in one direction. Either you flip the trigger from safety with a nice snap or you return it to safety with a snap. My experience is that the trigger cannot go from up and down with the same crisp snap. How did the historical K-13 function? Does anyone know?

Keep up the good work, Baur. Keep us informed of your progress and where you want us to send our rubles.

Cheers,

Flying Colander

These are great people! I am pleased that you are aware of them. I am a very simple guy smile and could never be the hero.

I stopped accepting applications. A lot of work frown Do not have time to do. Lot of guys in Russia are waiting for their joysticks and pedals. I can not take more and more orders.

In the process it was found that the trigger is better to make brass smile Now it looks very elegant - as a gift for the New Year :)))))) For historical accuracy, it should be painted in black color - it is a pity such a beauty :)))) But Of course you're right - this is the main story!

I figured out how to work the mechanism. It is very important to do it right. That there was no question - I will post the video.

Yes, I will be in this thread to talk about the news. And the start of the sale. To my regret KG 13D get a very expensive frown I'll do a separate topic at the forum, where the tell why this is so.

Thank you for your interest in my work!

Dear Santa - ehm, dear Baur.
smile
Your work seems very very promising, to say the least.
Forgive me if it's too early to ask - but so, since you posted those production photos, does it mean that there will be a purchasable product anytime soon?
And if yes, how? And where from? Is it possible to pre-order?
Thank you, and keep up your amazing work!

The remaining items are now in transit to me smile I get them only at the end of December. Silicone mold allows you to make 25 quality castings. Therefore, a total of 25 sets will be. Half already booked in Russia by reservation. The product obtained is VERY expensive: (. WE are all accustomed to plastic devices that are cheap.
But if it is doing a series on the many many thousands of pieces. A small-batch production turns out expensive.
I glued in January parts soldered buttons and make an interesting topic of sale. There I briefly discuss the whole process of two years of work. You can read it using Google translator.
This work was very interesting for me.
While I will not show photos of the finished product - I can not publish the final price. Sorry!
Follow this topic to make a booking. I doubt there will be another batch of products manufactured. I do handle for themselves and guys. And my goal will be achieved.
I will publish news about my work.

The trigger mechanism works perfectly! Later I'll show photos. Your work has helped me to understand how it should work.

Bauer,

Well done. Better than some cast "replicas".
