Hey Skate (or anybody) -- maybe you know the answer to this ? --
I bought Ping Plotter the other day. When I do a trace-route from my place to the Hollo Pointe server, that last station says Destination Address Unreachable (or something like that). Hollo Pointe is on a Comcast network, BTW.
Can I do something to overcome that issue?
There is one station in the middle of that route that consistently shows ~10% packet loss. That node is on my ISP's network - Century Link (Qwest). Should I be complaining to Century Link about what I see there?

If you are getting ANY packet loss - consider it unacceptably low service quality and complain. Although I've found that the ISP's tech support people have no idea how any of the infrastructure works so giving them the information and evidence is likely to make them tell you to try unplugging your modem.
I was surprised to see your ping at over 300 Crew. Guess that explains it. Any packet loss leads to resent (and therefore delayed) data - and if it's within that magical 10% enough times consecutively then you can get a lost connection (might explain that unreachable node).
In any event, it does sound exactly like an infrastructure problem they need to address.

lately my ping says 300+ before joining the server, but once in the server it settles down to like 70-100. I'm not quite convinced that this isn't DCS related

Eh guys- a quick note about the Georgia Peach campaign.
These missions are intended to be used longer term and replayability has been a MAJOR consideration during its development. However- because of issues with 126 I'm unable to run many of the randomizing functions in the MP format- so for reliability I've placed the units hoping that I only need to run the mission once anyway (during the fly in.)
When they get it fixed, I'll dust off my random zone versions of the missions and bring them back out. They'll ENSURE that each and every time you fly the mission, it's different enough to keep it fresh.
I noticed I haven't put victory conditions in the briefings... I'm working on that now.
Crew about TV- if it's updated to its latest version then you should have no trouble.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy a good cross country flight.. I guess either that or some "short range" flyers for quicker action when we're flying this during the weeknights.

Yes... the 20 flights should all be at Sochi... the 30s should all be up north (look at "long term operations" part of the briefing.)
Some guys like the longer flights in... so they're there to accommodate.
I flew this evening....that was a LONG flight! LOL! Should have went for the short flight...ran out of time! But it has been awhile for me in the A-10C, so kinda enjoyed the flight. Thanks for the missions.

Eno's server has always seemed the most active for my timezone, so I jump on every now and then...I tend to bounce around between flight sims....Cliffs of Dover, FSX, VATSIM, DCS. Nice to see activity in US evening times! I just yesterday finally decided to check out your TS and this thread at SimHQ....looks like a lot of you are in Colorado? I am in Pennsylvania. Hope to meet you guys on TS soon.
