Hey Guys,

I have been an advocate of symmetrical speeds and Faster speeds. and have always said these Cable ISP's are Heavily restricting us in speeds..

Now I do Believe I have the proof that this is in fact True. I have always said we should hev way faster speeds then what the Major Providers offer today..

I saw a show on an alternative Broadcast RT.. now they where talking about Google Fibre and the Speeds they offer which get this is at 1gigabit UP and DOWN..

Now being most of the USA is Fibre Verizon ran the lines decades ago.. Now NOT saying the Entire Country is covered in Fibre lines but a VERY Big Chunk of it is..

Now I am trying to figure out what we can do Perhaps get a petition going to get these ISP to offer gigabit speeds. perhaps a Petition or something how would one go about getting something like that started perhaps a Blog or Facebook page or something..

Well now that Google Fibre is out there I sure hope these ISP's start catching up. heck even if we could get 500mbps UP and DOWN would be something.. but they do NOT even offer symmetrical speeds and for that we are lagging..

Kinda suck these companies do that.. oh and by the way that 1 gigabit connection is ONLY$70.00 USD!! a month.

I suspect that once Google starts infiltrating the markets, competition will kick in and ISPs will have no choice but to offer faster speeds (or lower prices) to keep customers.

Well even Google Admidts they are not going into the ISP business. they are just trying to make people realize what they are missing or could have from these other greedy corporations..
