I am considering selling my existing Warthog and Cougar FSSB R2 sets and want to gauge interest. Here are the details:

Warthog - Both joystick and throttle works perfectly, paint is peeling on joystick and trigger. I've considered repainting or having it powder coated but decided to simply put it up for sale. Also, the well known issue with the rubber ring in the joystick base hit me about 18 months ago...I was able to fix by removing the ring and obtaining one of the plastic replacements being produced by one of the forum members over at Warthog World. I've been using it with great success ever since. Throttle works fine, no issues. The Warthog is no longer under warantee (its over 2 years old).

Cougar FSSB - Very well kept set works perfoectly. Stick itself has some minor peeling of paint but not to the extent that Warthog has....body of the stick and throttle are fine with VERY minor wear. Throttle has Cubpilot's hall sensor mod...I don't use the throttle anymore due to the Warthog but it works great.

I'm thinking 275.00 for the Warthog and 350.00 for the FSSB set. I also have a spare (non modded) Cougar throttle (only) I'd consider getting rid of for maybe 75.00 dollars.

I can post pictures later tonight or tomorrow but want to gauge interest based on these prices.

Honestly I will use the money to get a new Warthog set. I want to stress my current Warthog works great...but I am slightly OCD...the peeling paint is driving me nuts. I plan to buy a pair of gloves to wear when using the next set...word to the wise for new Warthog owners...your sweat WILL cause the paint to peel over time. The downside to getting something metal.

Would interest change if I dropped the price of the Warthog set to 200.00?

The 350.00 price for a FSSB R2 modded Cougar with a Cubpilot hall sensor mod on the throttle is very reasonable given that's less than the price for the mods themselves.

You're now making me regret buying a Warthog a few months back with the expectation that a deal like this wouldn't show up again, then buying new computer parts over the past few weeks. I simply don't have the money in my account right now.

I want that FSSB R2 Cougar. On the flip side, I also like my Warthog (no peeling paint so far, unlike my old hotrodded FCC-1 Cougar I sold a long time ago) and bought it with the expectation of getting a FSSB R3 later.

Decisions, decisions...

For that matter, did you ever get the UTM bushings for your Cougar throttle? Those make a world of difference - no more stiction!

Quick update.

Cougar is gone.

I'm being lobbied by my son to let him keep the Warthog. I will make a decision by tomorrow if I will move forward with selling it. If I do I will reach out to those people who have contacted me in the order I received PMs with shipping info. I will give each person the chance to complete the transaction prior to moving to the next.
