I'm selling it at the exchange shop on saturday whilst I can still get a decent price and maybe I might have a look again if it ever comes out on PC.

Sell it on ebay. People are still getting near full price for it on there.

Hey Frontier, RDR is awesome. Yeah, not being able to swim is annoying but you can get in if you are careful. I've done it up to my chest so that when I walked out I could see my clothes all wet.

Some people were somehow able to get a stagecoach tipped over and ride down the river on it. biggrin There's youtube videos of it as well as videos of the graphics and physics going haywire like guys riding around on their horses which somehow turned into distorted people with donkey heads or some such lol.

Its an amazing game, the only negative points I could find are small things like the different outfits being so complicated to unlock. I'm about 5 hours past the point where you unlock Mexico, something about Mexico didn't click for me, I just can't side with the Federales, so now I wear a bandana through most of Mexico, siding with the criminals in the random events. I have a $800 bounty south of the border, compared to a $75 in the US. I'm contemplating letting my honor go and becoming an outlaw, but I can't make myself to do it yet.

Yeah Marston is kind of between a rock and a hard place. Truly stuck in the middle and being used by multiple parties. I like how his character is what it is, straight forward, and he's just trying to do better and get back to his family.

I was blown away the first time I crossed into Mexico and that theme started playing. There are some real pretty spots there too.

Have you bumped into the black clad, top hat wearing stranger yet? Such a well crafted story.

Yeah those first 15 minutes in Mexico were awesome, I slowed down to a slow trot till the theme ended, just to savor the moment.

I'm not sure, I met a guy who sent me to Thieve's Landing to send a guy home to his wife, he knew Marston but Marston didn't know him. Is that the guy? I've never seen him since.

just met him the second time. I just had a "wait what?" moment, as I realized I'm over the halfpoint of the game and have never seen a single Native American. How can you make a Wild West game without Indians? Thinking about it they would have added a lot to this game, hundreds of possible random events etc.

FYI RDR is set in 1911. You'll eventually run into some once you get in the last area.

I think RDR2 (hopefully it'll come) will have Indians. I heard some nonsense about eating baked beans for health. Hope that's not true.

I'd like to see some flashback missions with John Marston just to get to play as him again and enjoy his character and perhaps get some more filler about his story.

After unlocking the final area I hope RDR2 takes it to the true Wild West era, 1860s or so, I didn't really realize the game was set so late, so Blackwater was quite a shocker to me, and I was sitting there looking back at what I'd already played thinking "well what about this and that and the other thing". My first reaction was at least they didn't take the cheap shot of adding a 1911 "prototype" to the game, then the dude gave him the 1901 and I just groaned. hahaha
