I saw this a couple of years ago but it's still useless if you can only take off and land at an airport and you need a pilot license.
It's not like you can drive down the freeway and then when traffic starts to get heavy, take off from the freeway and land at your street.
They are also making one that does VTOL and you don't need a pilot license and you can take off and land anywhere but it's another 10 years in development.
But I bet by the time the VTOL model is available, the gov't will require owners of it to get a pilot license and impose restrictions where they can take off from and land at.
What's in the box? C'mon, what's in the boooox?

Yeah, it's hard to envision any kind of fixed wing flying car solution that will allow for take-off/landing on a regular highway. I guess this just allow the pilot to land and just keep on going. No hangar or tie-down fees!
