I would not necessarily subscribe to the tactics chosen in this video. Anyway, I was alerted about this 15' demonstration of what happens if computer-controlled units are by and large left alone to fight each other, and I think it's worth watching SB Pro being used as a wargame with 3D scenery rather than from the first person perspective (plus some AAR scenes):

What tactics would you subscribe to? Just leave the tanks as support outside the village and let the infantry deal with it?

Well, sending one single tank as an isolated spearhead to push through the barricade without previously securing the adjacent buildings with infantry is one point.
Using a heavy 155mm artillery barrage in the middle of a populated city would certainly lead to a parliamentary grilling session for the commanding officer, if not criminal prosecution (all depending on the circumstances, of course).
Surrounding the city block to prevent an exfiltration of the insurgents would be another good idea.

Just three ideas that immediately spring to mind. Still, I think it's worth watching. smile
