Combatace is the place to find all your modding needs. There are several downloadable and flyable migs.

All Ai plane in the thirdwire series is pretty easy to make flyable just add a cockpit and a cockpit line in the plane.ini file and it is flyable.

If you have the campaign customizer DLC you can fly for N. Vietnam, choose whatever (flyable) plane you want in the customization selection and choose side "North Vietnam". You have to type in the unit name, "921st Regiment", etc. I'd recommend turning speech volume to "off" . OK; so then, as I understand it, there is no purchase-able add on DVD that has NVAF units; right, just downloadable mods?

Its still essentially the same VietnamSEA in SF2 If you have just plonked an old folder that has old ini files in it etc then thats why its locking up - you could probably use the image files from it okay. Can you not just use this http://combatace.com/files/file/14268-green-hell-35/ - best one yet by miles Also make sure the terrain sits in the Terrains folder in your MOD folders - not the core game folders

OK..So I placed Green Hell in terrains folder for SF2 WOI and SF2 North Atlantic. Vietnam not even show up as an available choice. Must be missing a key file element (?)

Do you have SF2 Vietnam merged with those?
If not you wouldn't have the rest of the Terrain files in the CATs for Vietnam - the Greenhell mod probably only has the tiles and few other files.

yes it will
place the VietnamSEA.cat in the core install's /Terrains folder.
extract the main and data inis,
create NEW VietnamSEA subfolder in whichever mods folder you want it in.
place those 2 inis there.
you'll have to edit the shader statements in the data ini, and there's a whole "How To" Tutorial in the SF2 Knowledge base at CombatAce.
