No the old duffer isn't dead, but if he doesn't quit smoking, he will be. He's just moving, and he doesn't have the time or energy anymore to devote to his hobby, he's asked me to sell it for him.

Anyhow, I listed all of his still-sealed stuff on eBay, and all are fixed prices, some are negotiable.

Yes, I will ship overseas, since I know most of you guys and y'all are cool.

Here's the thing, though. I have an entire metal cabinet FULL of open-box models, trouble is, I can't be sure everything's there and neither can he. This includes a freakin' huge mama-jama Italieri 1:48 scale C-130. The sucker is IMMENSE.

So, if you're in the market for a lot of WW2 kits, I might be able to help you, I might not. PM me.

By the way, all of his stuff was stored in my Mom's craft shed where SHE WOULD NOT LET HIM SMOKE....

Pfunk, any pics of the open box items? I have friend that does a lot of modeling for active units. If the models are modern he might be interested?

Great collection Pfunk. I have been considering for years of selling mine as well. Just never seem to have the time for them and I have about 50 or so, along with much aftermarket add-ons too. Thanks for sharing and hope your Dad quits his habit. It took mine having a bypass and fighting off lung cancer to finally commit to stopping.

No, no finished models, only kits. I've put a bunch of his open box kits up for auction including a couple I really didn't want to sell. Let me put it this way, if the B-17F and the JASDF Sabre don't sell, they're staying with me and I'm going to finish them.

Well, do you mean opened up and partially done or just open box? Because I've stuck a LOT of open box stuff up there.

Yes, I do have some more armor models that I haven't put up yet, mostly because they are open box, the bags are unsealed, some of the parts have come off the trees, and I cannot verify at all that everything is in the box, so I have a hard time selling to someone knowing that. However, if you're interested, I can come up with a list of stuff that is open-box and unsealed if you would like to see some of that.

I had a look at the Kitty Hawk model, as that was my ship when I was in the Navy. Ebay's asking some crazy shipping prices to Australia. $43.90 USD for shipping... dizzy

Was mainly just curious though. Sad to hear he can't really continue with his hobby. Glad he's alive too.

I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.
