I haven't flown in years. Since I just picked up a Warthog, what sim should I get used to flying again.
Sims that I'm interested in: IL-2, ROF, and FC3. Which sim do you recommend me flying to get use to flying again?

Timothy, JAMF's advice is correct. However, if you're interested in ROF, there is a free downloadable demo which consists, I believe of the game in its entirety, but with only two flyable planes. A great way to try it out, and if you like it, you can, if you wish, buy more dlc.

Oh, I have all three. Over the years, I've always made it a policy to support sims because I love them and want them to succeed. So I've bought all three, granted on sale, but I still supported the developers. I have the IC edition and a few other planes I just had to have in ROF. So, I'll start with IL-2 then.

and the TF mod makes it better, although I have not got round to installing the mod yet. I love, ROF, DCS A10C & KA52. for some reason, Ive never liked the flight model of IL2 for some reason...I dont know why....might have been playing aces high 2 for so long I am not sure but Ive reinstalled it and downloaded the HSFX mod so will give it another shot

Get DCS: World if you want FC3, and try DCSW for free - it comes with the Su-25T. I know it's an A2G rustbucket, but you might find it interesting. FC3 planes will be aiming for that sort of fidelity with the flight model (note that each aircraft will fly differently of course, the Su-25T has its own problems/challenges, like really narrow main gear etc) with the Su-27 and F-15 AFMs. However, FC3 requires you to purchase the original lock on as well. I haven't flown in years. Since I just picked up a Warthog, what sim should I get used to flying again.

Since you have a Warthog, the obvious answer is DCS A-10C, but if you're learning again how to walk/run, this is Marathon category. Eventually you'll want to get here (at which point every switch on the Hog is automatically mapped to its in-game A-10C counterpart), so I echo re advice about picking up DCS World. If you already have Lock On, then you know what you're getting into with FC3 (albeit with better graphics and flight models), and then the only real learning curve for the A-10C is the systems.
