Does anyone know if the A-10A or Su-25 have any training tutorials that come with them? I thought I remember an update a few weeks back from Wags saying they were being worked on. I really like the training missions for each DCS plane.

So your saying the Steam keys wont work on the Standalone DCSW?

I am not sure whether or not I should get the DCS UH-1H because of the following reasons:

01. It does not come with a lot of missions.

02. How is the online play, of what use is it in an online public multiplayer game?

03. Are people making missions for the UH-1H?

I'm sure there are other people that would like to be convinced to buy this item. Some persuasive reasons to buy it would be appreciated.

I bought the A-10A using this steam sale. I was then able to get the regular registration key after installing the Steam Client. After I am done getting the key(s) I will get rid of the Steam Client. I did the same thing with the A-10C key during the last Steam sale. The key for the A-10C still shows in my profile together with the other key for the A-10A. Both keys are in the same format and the same length.

why uninstall it?, just leave steam client on there, delete DCSW Local Content to save space, and remove Steam from Startup and set steam services to Manual Start.

After sitting on the fence for a very, very long time (last product I bought from them was LOMAC) bought A-10c, Black Shark 2 and Huey.

For anyone hesitating, just remember these Steam 70% sales are rare. You may not see another one on DCS for a long time, if ever.

..now to get into some heavy duty mud moving...

Buy module on steam, install into DCSW:
Downloaded both modules from ED.
Bought the P51 and SU25A on steam.
Start steam, click install on DCSW, then right click and copy the keys.
Cancel the steam install.
Go to where you saved your modules downloaded earlier,and run the installer.
Install into your DCS folder.
Start DCS,pick the module (eg P51) and run a quick mission or something.
It will ask for the key.Paste the key in the box, wait for the activation check, and you're away!
It took longer to type this than it takes to do it!

You dont need to Install, you can view CD-Keys without installing.

Simply Click on DCSW in your Library, then View CD Keys on the Right side Menu.

Ah well, it worked for me lol.I clicked on istall then immediately paused, got the keys then deleted it.

Wish I had $20-30 bucks to spend on some things right now, would totally pick up Huey, CA and Mustang.

May seem like a silly question, but why instal the modules outside of Steam? Is there an advantage?

I personally like the ease/functionality of Steam.

People's personal preferences and liking having a choice to use Steam or not.

Because Steam doesnt work with FC3, and I wanna use all of what I paid for.

Plus Early Betas.


I Do keep steam as a "Backup" incase Something goes screwy I can still use Steam's version./

my issue is it downloaded UH1 and BS2 and its not asking for the activation on P-51 its asking for that. not sure why though
