Open your *username*.Arma3Profile, find the difficulty section that you use (class Recruit, Regular, Veteran, etc.), and change precisionEnemy=x.x; to a lower value. I have mine set at 0.5 and firefights are intense but last a lot longer

I always think its funny when people "test" scenarios, vehicles, weapons in a way that's not natural or in the proper manner. It's software, of course if you do things not natural to "test", you'll get bad results.
Now try testing a 8 vs 8 tank battle at proper distant and/or usage... See what happens. (I have, and pretty awesome.)
