I have the 2.5 version with no patches. I've never played on line but want to try it. The other day I tried to do so but got a message saying somthing like, "could not locate instalation folder", anyone else have this problem, Is it fixed by adding a patch? Thanks in advance!

If you have the Flanker2.5 CD you are good to go. It is the final (2.51) version.

It just sounds like Hyperlobby doesn't know where Flanker is on your HD. I can think of two things to try.

Check the .ini (.cfg?) file for Hyperlobby, you may be able to manually edit the correct folder for Flanker. I'm at work now and can't confirm this.

You can try renaming the HL .ini/.cfg file to force it to reinitialize. It might then ask you where the Flanker folder is.

You can try uninstall/reinstall HL. To attempt the same thing as above.

Right click on the folder, select properties and copy the directory.
