OOOOO... is there an ETA till in stable? Though the full game will be out soon. May have a wonder around the island though. Anyone fancy trying it online?
Place a few vehicles, maybe some hostiles, and just explore.

Ah so that's what the update was. I'll try it out tomorrow.
I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.

Wonder what hit your system will take if you have a forest map?
This map is going to be almost total vehicle combat. Sooooo wide open.

Just been doing exactly the same thing as you meatshield ... flying round altis looking at the locations .... does look very nice ... and as a bonus getting great frame rates
Dont think of it as being vastly outnumbered ... but just having a large target selection.
The only thing more accurate than incoming fire, is incoming friendly fire

do you need the deluxe version to download
I can't find this map It's in the Dev build so you have to opt in and then it's only in the editor.

Sorry for my density Mace, but by 'opt in' you mean?
thanks Go into 'properties', then the beta tab and in the pull down there will be an 'opt into dev build' selection. It will then download the dev build.

Excellent. This is what I was hoping for - long range combat that necessitates heavier assets like armour. I feel that is the one outstanding aspect of ArmA games that other games simply don't deliver. Point and click CQB shooters are a dime a dozen.
