Anyone know if Steam's going to allow you to pre-install the game the day before it releases (then "activate" it the day of)? I've seen it done for a few games, and with my horrific broadband connection here I'd really rather not spend the entirety of 3rd September just downloading the game...

Possibly. Most big games do but I'm getting s physical version so doesn't matter to me smile

I really, really wanted to go boxed version, but stuff just doesn't arrive in a timely fashion to my PSC box at my base, and all of the local game stores weren't taking pre-orders yet when I tried them (back in May or June). Besides, the half-off sale was too good to resist. biggrin
