Very good mostly, one criticism is the removal of the foams on the sea.

I am curious who Team Fusion are and how they able to mod the game? Is it somehow available to modding?

Where can I get it? Looks interesting. Although a few things I like more in the original/current.

Team Fusion is a bunch of dedicated modders from all over the world. They make posts, and provide free updates on the ATAG site. COD was originally planned to be moddable, but its demise didn't allow for the release of the mod tools. TF is doing a wonderful job modding the sim without ingame modding tools or source code. Love all the effects, just not the layer of haze on the aircraft @ 0:48. That's not going to stop me using the patch though, as the other improvements are so huge. smile

I am just now getting CloD and initially thought the waves had foam (aka, whitecaps), but now it appears they are supposed to be reflections of sunlight. Whitecaps are always associated with windy conditions. It would be a nice effect to have varying sea states proportional to surface weather conditions. I continue to be amazed by what Team Fusion is doing, especially in light of their limited access to coding. It makes you wonder why Oleg's team could not have dealt with some of these issues better over the time they had it in development. Carry on, TF, you guys rock!

Thanks Chivas. I have not followed the game closely for quite a while and it's cool it's modable now.

I wonder did they make their own "editor" or something, an exporter from 3d modelling software? A compiler into game files formats. Always wanted to try model my own home city and map for the game.

Is there any info regarding how to mod the game? I can't find it on their site. Did 1C leaked some of their in-house tools?

I have no idea what exact tools they have, or how to mod a sim. I know they have talked about building their own editors to make the modding process easier, but that would take a lot of manhours. I believe they are currently using other editors not specific to the task required, but do work.

AFAIK - No leaked tools, but I suspect that former MG programer work with TF. smile

The game code, after the join venture 1c/777 probable has been drop over Chernobyl reator - at the end "it's all about money"...

Imagine if are the promissed SDK tools.

At momment they dont have tools for import/export cockpits/planes - need create one:

A good news for Single Player.

Dynamic Campaign: Interested in developing a Campaign?

Thanks to the generous efforts of EnlightenFlorist, we have been gifted with his Dynamic Campaign.

AKA_Recon is now adapting it for inclusion into TF 4.0.

If anyone is interested in developing a Campaign for the DCG, please contact Recon and he should be able to bring you up to speed as to how the program works.

To start some mod look at Keygest SFS extractor to see internal files. Obs dont work with TF patch, since is very easy cheater with FM.

Some GUI corrections that I did for my SP version (just text file edit and load as MOD):

Is unbelievable why MG dont correct thigs like the idiot "Afterburner:ON" - takes only a few minutes text editing.

It probably would have been fixed in a finished product, but it appears they were up to their *ss in aligators for most of the development. If something could go wrong, it always did in that development.

It really looks like there should be some MG insider that helps them. So the game is nor actually modable.

I would gladly pay again for the editor and tools. Maybe a kind of gold edition or something. They could squeeze a few extra roubles from that. So pity such a masterpiece went nowhere. I still see it vastly superior visually to any other flight game including War Thunder. And it works like a silk on my new pc.

TF is made up of some very talented people who probably wouldn't need an insider, but it certainly would make things a lot easier.

Would be interesting to see what they could do if they had all the toys to play with.
