well, remember what nat does - it changes the source ip address in the ip header of outgoing packets (of course, there's a bit more to it than just that). but what if your game or application embeds and expects the ip address in the data portion of the packet? then it will never work through nat, unless you have an application-level gateway that will change the data the same way that your nat router changes the ip header. there isn't one for flanker, unfortunately.
