I haven't had time to play much lately. Has anyone tried the Steam integration where you can download missions and such?

Just think of the helo races around Altis! It's a game in itself.

Ignore me...

It appears that there are not that many new missions in the full game, however new content is set for a whole year. As long as a majority of it is free I'll be very happy http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/08/15/payday...y-in-the-works/

It seems the updates are large but still smaller than the full game DL. The last beta update was 1.1GB or so.
My guess is the final release will similarly cross 1GB but still be far less than the 7GB of the full thing right now.

good news!

a question for you Arma3 folks that are 'in the know'
I finally bought the ArmA3 beta on Friday at the BIS site and my steam code is ready. dumb question (something I am good at): is the Sept 12 release version of ArmA 3 an upgrade to the Arma3 beta or a completely separate game? I do not want to spend time downloading and installing the Arma3 beta so close to the Sept 12 ArmA3 full-release if the two are separate games.
thanks! cowboy

Chances are it will still use all the core files from the beta; but any updated or new files will have to be DL'd (like the new map, units, missions, etc.)

It will still probably be a pretty hefty update

Ya, most likely a update via steam to the release version... but to be safe I'll be deleting the beta, a couple of days before release and download full. (since i had it from the early alpha days.)
