I dug my Logitech Wingman Force Wheel out of the closet for some road action, when I read Logitech no longer supports the old red wheel in windows 7. I understand why, but then again I hate the idea of throwing them away. I guess I could go the whole dual boot XP/Win7 route but rather not.

I thought with the knowledge base here we could get somewhere or see if anybody has any experience with them.

I do have a old Leo Bodnar USB Adapter that I was always going to convert a Suncom Talon, but have not been able to secure a good Throttle for the project, even though I have 4 Talon sticks. lol

I am open to other suggestions, the simplier the better on how to get the Big Red Wheel back into action.

Here is one possible option, but like the last reply, I didn get any FF effects either:

Maybe there is a logi driver somewhere, with which one can perform the same ini-edit trick.

Thanks for the link. Will have to try that this weekend.

I am wondering if Logitech still supports the Logitech Rumblepad 1 or 2 in Win7 64bit?

I'm thinking of taking the guts out of one of those to replace the board in the Wingman Force wheel. Probably wouldn't able to handle the bigger vibration motors.

Old thread I know...BUT....there is a solution!

Someone hacked a Saitek 64bit driver for use in win7....and it WORKS....with full force feedback effects!
