Very nice!

I wonder if the dobber switches are supposed to be that lengthy? Looks like it could poke the pilot's eye out!

lol, true. I did shorten them by 1/2" after I looked at the pictures.

I've no idea; I've not seen the real thing, but I always thought it was just "normal-switch-length"?

I did mention that these are not 1:1 scale right?

This is probably the last post on this project. I am going to make several other runs for those who asked for them but I doubt there is anything to add to this design (as far as I am concerned).

My next project will be a full set of panels for the F-16 cockpit, I am working on the CAD files now.

I made some enclosures to make sure the ICP modules are not damaged in the post. I am fairly sure they will have to drive over these things to damage them...course with the USPS you never can tell.... wink

They are also packed into a medium sized USPS Priority shipping box with plenty of wadded newspaper.

The enclosures can also be used to mount the ICP module to your desk (just some sanding, paint and non-skid rubber feet).

Lol, so what scale is it? biggrin

Very nice work though. So the MK II is officially done? No plans for MK III? Really envious of this project, I hope by the time I get the cash for something like this, someone somewhere is still making them!

Nope, no MKIII planned. I am still going to make the MKII, in kit form, for those who are interested in buying one. I have the next run of six pre-sold (although I am not taking money until they are ready to ship) and have shipped out the first four modules of this run. I will have another one finished probably tomorrow and the last as soon as my replacement engraving bits arrive (DoH!) biggrin

Very cool! Also quite inspiring.

If you reach limitations using GenericHID, I've been playing with Teensy boards quite a lot over the last eighteen months, I'd be delighted to help with programming stuff like this in teensy-arduino-C. Also Paul (maker of Teensy boards) is very helpful - I got in touch with him re using GenericHID to make custom interface hardware for X-Plane and his reaction was to provide built-in support for X-Plane!

Hi Dozer, thanks.

Yes, I had followed your work with X-Plane. As a matter of fact I sent you a message at one point but did not hear back from you wink

Right now Generic HID works great for the ICP modules but since I do not know anything about programming at all that is about as far as I can go.

I am working on motion platforms right now for racing and am using an Arduino and sketches made by other people. I would really like to use the Teensy instead but do not know how. Any chance you would like to work on some Teensy code that would output to PWM to control direction and speed?
