Trailer for Star Wars Downunder. Star Wars Downunder is a 30 minute Star Wars fan film which finally answers the age old question, that has confounded many a film buff before: What would happen if you crossed Star Wars with an Australian beer commercial. Answer? Star Wars Downunder: an epic tale of the good, the bad and the thirsty.

I think that preview was more interesting and made more sense than "The Phantom Menace." biggrin

I couldn't understand 9 out of 10 words they said. Were they speaking English?

Lol! Even when I was a thin teenager I couldn't run anywhere near that fast.

This picture just came into my mind of a load of sex-starved 'internet nerds' all under 'starters orders' in their traps as the 'hare' (Michelle Jenneke) flies past.

I need to get out more. yep

At the gun, 6 trip and fall, 2 forget to put down their nachos, 1 takes 3 steps and grabs his side screaming...CRAMPS. The remaining 3 watch her speed off, determine they can't catch her and go back to looking at pron.

That's the thing about Australians. You'd have to live there a couple years to understand what they are saying, and it is most definitely not English they are speaking. wink

Post refers to the OP's reference to George Lucas:

My opinion about George Lucas changed recently after re-watching "Revenge of the Sith" (haven't seen it for years). I wouldn't say it isn't flawed. It has some cringe inducing scenes here and there. However, the immense disrespect he gained from the Phantom Menace made me think that he received a lot of help for the screenplay of "Revenge of the Sith". So, when I re-watched it I was expecting "written by George lucas, screenplay by blah blah blah" or "screenplay by George Lucas, blah blah and blah", but no, it was simply "written and directed by George Lucas"

To me, "Revenge of the Sith" is a worthy effort and it seems like everyone wants to remember the "Phantom Menace" instead which IMO is unfair.
